Green (unroasted) specialty Robusta, graded to Screen 15 and scoring 81 SCA points as a Fine Robusta. Natural processed, from Uganda — the birthplace of Robusta (Coffea canephora).
Roasted, this lot produces baker's chocolate, black pepper and gentle smokiness with ripe stone fruit underneath. We roast it medium-dark — a good starting point if you're roasting it yourself. Works well blended 20-30% into a lighter Arabica.
Sold unroasted for home and small-batch roasters. Store in a cool, dry place away from light — green coffee keeps well for up to 12 months.
