This coffee comes from Bette Buna’s own farm in Guji Megadu. Ripe cherries are briefly placed in an anaerobic environment using the team’s unique “Kickstart” process, which gently alters the sugars before natural processing begins. The result is a coffee with enhanced sweetness, fuller body, and the classic fruity character of a Sidamo natural. After drying on raised African beds and careful hand-sorting, the coffee is rested and prepared for export to ensure a complex and vibrant cup.
