About this coffee

Our Colombia Dulima coffee makes an awesome espresso blend! We have modified the roast profile to produce a sweeter coffee with more body but with not too much reduction in acidity (If you prefer more acidity rather choose the Colombia Dulima found in the lighter roasts section.).

It is a carefully curated selection of coffee from the Huila region of Colombia, showcasing the quintessential flavours of this high-altitude, volcanic landscape. Named after the indigenous Pijaos people's word for the Tolima volcano, "Dulima" means Snow Queen, a tribute to the region’s majestic peaks and fertile soils.

Bright acidity, citrus, smooth sweetness

Roast profile:

We use a medium roast with more development time to enhance the coffee’s natural brightness and highlight its sweetness while reducing the acidity a bit for espresso extraction.

The producers:

Dulima is sourced from smallholder farmers across Pitalito, Garzón, Gigante, San Agustín, La Plata, Acevedo, and other key coffee-growing municipalities in Huila. These farmers are known for their meticulous approach to cultivation and processing, ensuring consistently high-quality coffee.

The process:

The coffee is washed processed, bringing out clean, vibrant flavours with a crisp finish.

The region:

The Huila region is one of Colombia’s most renowned coffee-producing areas, contributing 18% of the country’s total production. With farms situated between 1,500 and 2,300 meters above sea level, the combination of high altitude and volcanic soil creates optimal conditions for producing complex and flavourful coffees.
